Marketing and Communications Strategy Request Form
We use a prioritization process for all requests for marketing support. This process helps our team allocate the appropriate time and resources to ensure a well-thought-out marketing strategy and mutually agreed upon execution plan. Please note that this is not a first-come, first-served model. To proceed with a request, please review the following requirements and guidelines:
Lead times required for each type of initiative are outlined below and will be strictly adhered to.
- Initiatives related to net new academic programs: 365 days prior to projected launch date.*
- Other academic program-related initiatives: 120 days prior to projected launch date.*
- All other initiatives: 90 days prior to estimated launch date.*
*Launch date is defined as the beginning of promotion and NOT the start of the program, event, initiative, etc. and only those requests that fulfill these requirements will be placed in the pipeline. The initiative should have prior approval from the designated approver for your department or division.
Process:
- Request is received by MarComm team.
- MarComm reviews request and determines priority level.
- MarComm team schedules a strategy meeting (if needed) to identify the most appropriate marketing approach and tactics.
- MarComm checks project work queue and provides requestor with an estimated start date and completion timeline.
- Project coordination begins, including gathering additional information, check-ins, and progress updates.
- Project is completed and delivered.
Note: Estimated production time is between 15 to 30 working days from the project start date, depending on the request, work queue, etc.
