Students, employees and the public with accessibility needs may encounter several barriers while attending or working at the college. Physical barriers like stairs, narrow doorways, and inaccessible washrooms can limit mobility. Attitudinal barriers, such as discriminatory behaviors and assumptions, contribute to an unwelcoming environment. Additionally, incompatible IT platforms, inaccessible course materials, and exclusive policies in student services and recruitment processes can significantly impact their academic and professional journey.
